The price is often the easy negotiation. The licence is the hard one.
We act for hospitality groups, family offices, and listed REICs acquiring or disposing of hotels, mixed-use buildings and standalone commercial assets across mainland Greece and the islands. Asset value drives the term sheet; licence transferability drives the closing.
A Greek hotel sits on a stack of permissions — EOT classification, fire-safety certification, environmental clearance, building-use change history, and on the islands, archaeological no-objection. Each can be inherited, but each must be inherited correctly. We audit them in week one, not week ten.
Our practice covers both asset deals (the building, the licence, the bookings, the staff) and share deals (the operating company, with its full tax-and-employment history). We have a documented preference for the right structure on each side of the table, not a default.
We reply within two business days. Initial consultations carry no charge and no commitment.
